Delhi-NCR recorded the highest growth in average ticket size among the top seven cities, surging by 56% from approximately Rs 93 lakh in H1 FY2024 to over Rs 1.45 crore in H1 FY2025.

In the top eight cities across the country, housing demand is set for a fillip. As per a report released by Cushman & Wakefield and GRI 'Revitalising Indian Real Estate: A new era of growth and investment' urban housing demand is estimated at 41.56 lakh units till 2020, as against the expected supply of 10.23 lakh units.

Acccording to the Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation's 2012 estimates, housing shortages was around 18.78 million units in the entire country.
