RAIN ALERT: In Hiamchal, people are facing a lot of problems due to floods and rains. At the same time, a red alert has been issued for rain. People have been advised to stay indoors, tourists have been asked to stay away from the river banks.
Baat Pate Ki: Half of India is facing the brunt of heavy rains these days, flood after rain has caused havoc in many areas, if we talk about mountains, due to rain, landslides are happening at many places, huge stones are falling on the roads from the mountains, roads are broken in many places, there is danger of house collapse.
In most of the states of the country, there has been an outcry due to rain. Flood situation has arisen from the mountains to the plains. Himachal has recorded heavy rains in the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert.
National highways leading to the Himalayan shrines of Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri were blocked by debris following landslides at different points.
"Fairly widespread to widespread light/moderate rainfall/snowfall very likely to continue over Western Himalayan Region on 3rd and 04th February. Isolated hailstorm very likely over Himachal Pradesh on 03rd and over Uttarakhand on 03rd and 04th February, 2022," said IMD in a tweet.

Chardham pilgrims, who had arrived in Haridwar and Rishikesh by Sunday, have been asked not to proceed further till the weather improves while operation of vehicles for the Himalayan temples has been suspended temporarily.
Alert for heavy to very heavy rains has been sounded for Uttarkashi, Bagheshwar, Nainital, Pithoragarh and Chamoli districts.
