IMD Dehradun issued 5 days weather forecast on Septmeber 3 and informed of rains accompanied with lightning and hailstorm. Mountainous areas of Uttarakhand would witness haeavy rainfall.
According to a notification issued by the state government, all Anganwadi Centres and educational institutions up to the 12th standard will remain closed. Authorities have been asked to continue with online classes.
Uttarakhand govt on June 30 announced that the schools will resume classes via online mode from July 1.
The classes were suspended in the state from May 8 due to the second wave of COVID-19.
