VG Siddhartha went missing between 6 pm to 8 pm on Monday night. On Wednesday early morning his body was found floating over the water of Netravati river.
He owned a direct stake of 32.75% in CCD, together with his family he controlled 53.93 percent of the coffee chain.
The Karnataka Congress alleged that CCD founder VG Siddhartha’s death was a “result of harassment” by officials of the Income Tax department.
