Jagdeep Dhankhar’s victory margin by securing 72.8% of the 725 valid votes cast during the Vice President polls is the highest margin in the last six vice-presidential polls. 

Jagdeep Dhankhar, the NDA nominee, secured a total of 528 first preference votes, while Opposition candidate Margaret Alva received 182 votes.
