Vikrant Massey was born to parents Jolly and Aamna and has an older brother, Mohsin. Belonging to a middle-class family, he was born and raised by his parents in Nagbhid, a small town in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. 

The Vikrant Massey starrer was celebrated for its simple yet strong narrative, to restart over and over again in the face of failure.

A few days ago, it was announced that the makers were planning to send the film to the Oscars in 2024. Confirming it, actor Vikrant Massey said in a statement that the film 12th Fail has been sent to the Oscars in 2024 as an independent nomination.
