Bihar police had put several allegations on Mumbai police and alleged that the Bihar IPS was not quarantined but under 'house arrest'. IPS Vinay Tiwari had gone to Mumbai to probe the actor Sushant Singh Rajput death case.Tiwari reached Mumbai from Patna on Sunday (August 2). The case was handed over to India's premier investigation agency on Wednesday after Centre accepted Bihar government's request for a CBI probe.

Rahul Tiwari, the man who showed courage to stood up against notorious gangster Vikas Dubey, returned home on Wednesday. Dubey was killed in an encounter by Uttar Pradesh police on July 10. Tiwari talked to media and told the story of Vikas Dubey's terror in Kanpur's Bikru village.

A Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) convey carrying gangster Vikas Dubey, which arrived in Kanpur on Friday morning met with an accident after one of its car overturned while it was on the way. According to reports, the car was reportedly carrying gangster Vikas Dubey turned turtle due to the slippery road condition after heavy rains in the region. 

Dubey will be first taken to UP STF office and then will be produced before the court at 10 am today. 

Chaubepur SO Vinay Tiwari along with a few other officials of Bilhaur, Kakwan and Shivrajpur police stations are under suspicion of having a nexus with the gangster and providing him shield against any police action. 

The letter, which has surfaced on social media, alleges that station officer Vinay Tiwari had got a serious charge against Dubey dropped.

On Sunday, authorities demolished the house-mansion of Dubey and also destroyed his two SUVs and two tractors which were parked inside a garage and courtyard. The demolition had taken place in the presence of heavy police force. 

An FIR would also be lodged against the policemen and they would face further action if their involvement is proved during the course of the inquiry.

The Uttar Pradesh Police has raised the price money on gangster and notorious history-sheeter Vikas Dubey from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh. The development comes almost 48 hours after eight police personnel were killed during a raid which was carried in the wee hours of July 3 to arrest Dubey and his gang members in Kanpur.
