The Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad (IIT-H) will undertake a study on the ways in which ageing is conceptualised within in-vitro fertilization (IVF) by researching on elderly couples conceiving and birthing children through the method, it was announced here on Monday.
The study, published in the journal Human Reproduction, focused on dietary patterns rather than individual nutrients, foods or food groups.
The treatment costs of various assisted reproduction techniques is very high and many times out of reach of a common man.
