Vijender Singh kept his unbeaten pro-boxing record intact on Saturday in Jaipur by winning his 10th straight fight to defend the WBO Asia Pacific and Oriental titles against Ernest Amuzu of Ghana.
His unbeaten run notwithstanding, Indian boxing star Vijender Singh is not taking anything for granted as he gears up to defend his WBO Asia Pacific and Oriental titles against Ghana's Ernest Amuzu here on Friday.
This will be Vijender`s last fight of 2017 and the Indian wishes to end the year on a winning note that too with a knockout win.
Like Vijender, Amuzu also started his boxing career as an amateur and participated in the 2002 Commonwealth Games and 2004 All Africa Games.
Vijender has seven knockout wins since his pro-boxing debut. Maimaitiali has the same unbeaten record but has lesser knockout wins.
The win helped the Beijing Olympics bronze medallist remained unbeaten in his pro boxing career.
The celebrated Indian boxer is still undefeated in his pro-career.
