WhatsApp New Feature: The new feature is currently being tested with a specific group of users. However, there is no confirmation of the upcoming new feature when it will be released to the public. 

The new feature is currently available to users testing WhatsApp Beta on Android, indicating that it will take some time before it becomes accessible to all users globally. 

With this new feature, the platform intends to make it easier for users to adjust text size for the Windows app.

WhatsApp is working on a mute shortcut option for group chats. It will allow users to easily mute the large groups when you don’t want to pay attention to them. Here's the step-by-step guide to using the feature on the Desktop.

At present, users have to switch to messaging platforms offering RCS to share high-quality videos. WhatsApp’s latest feature which allows users to share high-quality videos is spotted in the Android beta build. WhatsApp will reportedly offer three options to select the video quality before sharing.

WhatsApp Chat Threads is one such feature that will be launched later this year. As per the website WABetaInfo, the Chat Threads WhatsApp feature is made available for a few beta users on Android. To avail this feature, a user must update WhatsApp to the latest beta version of the app and there is no word on the rollout of the feature on iOS devices at the moment.

The new Beta version `2.20.200.6` also has features related to new chat wallpapers that are under development. WhatsApp is currently working to implement these features and they will be available in a future update.

The limit is not yet uniform for Android and iOS platforms, although the general rule is 1MB per sticker, WABetaInfo tweeted. WhatsApp introduced stickers a couple of years ago, but the Facebook-owned instant messaging platform officially announced the roll out of animated stickers barely a month ago.

WhatsApp is working on a new feature that will make it easier for users to add contacts to their list by scanning a QR code.

A stable release for Android and iOS is expected to follow soon.

The popular messaging service may also be working on an app for iPad users as references of WhatsApp for iPad were spotted on latest WhatsApp desktop app.

The function is available on the latest v2.17.340 beta version of WhatsApp.

The new feature is currently in Beta stage and if you want to try it out, you will have to log on to Google play and try it as a Beta tester.

WhatsApp's competitive streak is on-the-go adding more features upping the convenience quotient of the app.

After rolling out video calling on Windows phones last week, it seems that Facebook-owned chat messenger WhatsApp is soon going to enable video calling facility on its platform for Android phones too.
