The application window is being opened on the same terms & conditions stipulated in the PLI white goods scheme notified on April 16, 2021, and the guidelines issued on June 4, 2021.

Last year, as many as 46 firms, including Daikin, Panasonic, Syska and Havells were selected in the first round of the scheme.
In the second round, 19 companies had applied.
The ministry said the scheme is expected to lead to total production of AC and LED lights components of about Rs 1,22,671 crore over five years.
