The Cricketing greats have been making a headline at Wimbeldon 2025 as people of different walks of life was seen at the Royal Box. Virat along with his wife Anushka was present to watch the Men’s Round of 16 match between Novak Djokovic and Australia’s Alex de Minaur on Monday.

A local tennis club in London trained dogs to deliver the ball to the players on the tennis court. This training was part of an experiment where these dogs could be used as an alternative to ball boys or ball girls.

As far as Wimbledon is considered, it was only last year that the two had faced each other in the quarter-final round. Going down in the first two sets, Federer picked himself up to stun Cilic 6-7, 4-6, 6-3, 7-6, 6-3 in a nail-biting five-set match.

The sixth seed, runner-up last year to Andy Murray, was given a decent workout by Spanish claycourt specialist Albert Ramos-Vinolas on a sunny Court One but his extra firepower proved decisive as he won 7-6(3) 6-4 7-5.
