As Kyiv delivers a blow to Russia, MAGA world erupts and Trump stays quiet.

The G7 leaders will discuss the latest developments in Russia`s special military operation in Ukraine. The talks will focus on efforts to bolster the Ukraine and ways to demonstrate continued G7 unity in our collective response. The Group of Seven (G7) leaders includes the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Japan, Canada and Italy.

50 civilians were evacuated from a bombed-out steelworks in the city of Mariupol. Mariupol has endured the most destructive bombardment of the 10-week-old war.

Air raid sirens sounded in cities across the country on Wednesday night, and attacks were reported near Kyiv. The Russian military said it used sea- and air-launched missiles to destroy electric power facilities at five railway stations across Ukraine. Videos on social media suggested a bridge there was attacked.

The operation to bring civilians out of the sprawling Azovstal steel plant was being carried out, said UN humanitarian spokesman Saviano Abreu. On Monday, more than 100 civilians were expected to arrive in the city of Zaporizhzhia.

Ukraine has appropriated billions of dollars to the defence ministry amid the ongoing conflict with Russia. The funds will be used to pay salaries to Ukrainian troops, and supply them with equipment, fuel, food, protective devices and weapons. Zelensky discussed defensive support for Ukraine with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

On Friday, The Kyiv Independent reported that three Russian missiles hit Kyiv Oblast. The missiles hit undisclosed infrastructure sites near the city of Fastiv in Kyiv Oblast.

"We have had a number of engagements, as you know, with leaders in India about our approach to supporting the Ukrainians in this war," Psaki said.

Russia withdrew its invading forces from near Kyiv in early April after failing to capture the city. Zelensky said the blasts "prove that we must not drop our vigilance. We must not think that the war is over."

Zelensky said that NATO`s decision not to accept Ukraine as a member was a "gross mistake". Zelensky added that some of the alliance`s European member states had underestimated the country.

India continues to remain deeply concerned at the worsening situation and reiterates its call for an immediate cessation of violence and hostilities, said Ravindra. India has been sending humanitarian supplies to Ukraine and its neighbours, which include medicines and other essential relief materials.

The Ukraine military's general staff said Russian forces Monday were increasing assaults in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions. Zelenskyy said that a significant part of the entire Russian army is now concentrated on this offensive. The Donbas is Ukraine's mostly Russian-speaking industrial heartland in the east.

Despite several appeals for peace and concerted efforts by international leaders to prevent a full-scale military confrontation between Russia and Ukraine, Moscow on Thursday declared war on Kyiv.
