Yamuna Biodiversity Park News
Unlike leopards, who can live in different terrains, the presence of a Barking Deer or Kankar, in the thorny scrub and semi-arid vegetation of Delhi is quite unusual.
Delhi's lone leopard, spotted in Yamuna biodiversity Park recently, is likely to be shifted to neighbouring Uttarakhand's Rajaji National Park by the city government, as the animal that has strayed from Haryana, may "pose danger" to people in nearby areas.
The leopard sighting has been caught on camera by scientists on Monday night while they were installing surveillance devices.
