YouTube Features: The platform is now offering its Premium users even more options and features to further enhance how they enjoy their favorite content
Apple added support for picture-in-picture video for iPads with iOS 9 and brought it to iPhones with iOS 14.
YouTube did not provide a timeline for when the feature would arrive for free users, but stated the rollout to Premium subscribers is in progress.
The fund will launch in the coming months and pay creators this year and 2022, YouTube said.
YouTube said the new fund will pay thousands of creators each month whose videos on Shorts receive the most engagement from viewers.
The streaming video site added it will begin to test ads on Shorts.
Known as `Checks’, the new tool is aimed at making the process of uploading a video and receiving ad revenue easier.
This new system is reliant on Content ID.
If the Content ID matches the content in the creator`s video to another rights holder, the YouTuber uploading said video will receive a notice via Checks to find a way to remove that part of the video ahead of time.
Presently, when a user taps on the play button of a YouTube preview link in a tweet, the Twitter app opens the YouTube app installed on your phone to play the video.
Earlier, there was no option to watch the video directly without leaving the app on mobile devices.
Twitter will also launch a new "Spaces" chat room feature soon that's similar to social networking app Clubhouse.
