Actor Zeenat Aman has broken her social media silence and revealed that she'd been hospitalised, explaining her prolonged absence from Instagram.

Zeenat made her Instagram debut in February. She keeps on sharing reflective thoughts on topics ranging from parenthood, the privacy of celebs, dyeing of hair, and many more things.

In the picture, Zeenat looked gorgeous in a pink kurta and can be seen posing for the camera in a garden. The actor posted the message for her fans from Shimla.

Zeenat Aman, in ther latest Instagram post, talked about her time with Dev Anand and hinted at the first and only misunderstanding between them.

Zeenat took to Instagram, where she shared a throwback picture of herself in a salwar kameez. She has vermillion in her forehead and completed her look with a red big bindi. For the caption she wrote: "Clothes are not all that maketh the woman! You may associate me with 'western glam' but I'm as desi as they come."

Veteran actress Zeenat Aman has shared a throwback picture from 1977 saying it is to inspire "evening plans" for Saturday. Taking to Instagram, Zeenat shared a monochrome picture dressed in a neck plunging sequined dress. In the picture, she can be seen combing her hair.

She is known for her work in critically-acclaimed films like 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna', 'Yaadon Ki Baraat', 'Pukar', 'Jagir', 'Teesri Aankh' and others. The 71-years old actress was last seen in Ashutosh Gowariker’s 'Panipat' and is making headlines with her walk on the ramp of Lakme Fashion Week in Mumbai for Shahin Mannan.

Zeenat Aman spoke up on the issue of gender pay parity in Bollywood. She said there while there has been a change in the kind of roles portrayed by women, nothing much has changed in terms of pay parity.

She said that she is not planning a comeback, but neither is she closing that door. Zeenat took to Instagram, where she also shared that since her debut at 16, she has experienced the perils of "being misquoted, taken out of context, censored, and gossiped about."
