As per TRI mandate telecom service providers have published mobile network coverage maps on their websites offering user-friendly features.

Amit Shah while visiting Tamil Nadu targeted the Congress and said that 4G means the family of Rahul Gandhi, whose four generations are steeped in corruption. Also, he said that 2G means Maran family, 3G means Karunanidhi family, whose three generations are immersed in corruption.

A day after his acquittal in the 2G spectrum scam case, former telecom minister A Raja wrote an emotional letter to Karunanidhi and placed the verdict in "his feet with gratitude".   

Congress leader and senior advocate Kapil Sibal on Thursday said the acquittal of all the accused in the 2G scam vindicated then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and the UPA`s stand that there was no scam in the allocation of spectrum and licences to telecom companies.

Kanimozhi, A Raja and all other accused have been acquitted in all the three cases by a special court in the 2G spectrum scam case.

Soon after former telecom minister A Raja and DMK leader Kanimozhi along with all others were acquitted by a special court in the 2G spectrum scam case, reactions have started pouring in.

While pronouncing the one-line judgement, special CBI Judge OP Saini said that the prosecution has miserably failed to prove any of its charge. 

Elated after being acquitted in the 2G spectrum scam cases, DMK leader Kanimozhi thanked people for standing by her.

State-run BSNL will install around 28,000 new mobile base stations across the country to replace all 2G sites with 3G and roll out 4G services at select locations by end 2017-18.
