Responding to users queries, Mosseri mentioned plans to enable account switching and mentioned discussions about introducing a 'Reactions' button According to him, the 'Reaction' button would add "a fair amount of complexity to every post everywhere, and I like the idea of keeping things simple."

Mosseri stated that Meta will not create an Instagram app anytime soon because the company does not have enough users to work on a dedicated iOS version. Instagram CEO Kevin Systrom explained why a dedicated iPad app for Meta isn't on the table just yet. Mosseri had offered a similar response to a similar inquiry in 2021.

An Instagram user who goes by the username @Syenrai took the responsibility. They claimed to have created Mosseri’s fake obituary to convince of his death. Instagram’s parent company Meta has confirmed that the account of Mosseri was memorialized for a short period.

In March, a similar incident happened where Instagram ‘unintentionally’ unveiled a new feature that removes the like count on Instagram feed posts, letting the only publisher see it and it eventually turned out to be a bug, as revealed by Instagram.
