Former Zimbabwe batter Andy Flower has joined new IPL team Lucknow franchise as head coach. 

Andy Flower joined the Punjab franchise ahead of IPL 2020 and worked alongside head coach Anil Kumble for the last two seasons. 

Former England coach and Zimbabwe captain Andy Flower, who was hired by the Punjab Kings in the 2020 season steps down from the role of assistant coach. There's a good chance he'll end up with KL Rahul as both are rumoured to be with new franchises Lucknow and Ahmedabad.

The 36-year-old Mohammad Nabi is, however, not new to captaincy, having led Afghanistan from 2013 to 2015.
