The BJP's 'Sankalp Patra' promises Rs 21,000 in one-time financial assistance for pregnant women, six nutritional kits, Rs 5,000 for the first child, and Rs 6,000 for the second child in the Delhi poll manifesto.

At the launch of the BJP’s manifesto in Jharkhand, Shah said that women and tribal communities are unsafe under the ruling JMM’s regime.  

The Congress claimed that people were burdened under heavy taxes, smart meters, unprecedented unemployment and record inflation during the BJP's tenure. 

The Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections will be held in three phases, with key political parties including Congress and National Conference forming an alliance to contest 90 constituencies, with results expected on October 8.

The BJP manifesto for Rajasthan will be released by party chief J P Nadda. The BJP manifesto is expected to include several promising announcements, though the specifics remain undisclosed.

According to party sources, the BJP's election manifesto promises housing for the poor, regularisation of contract workers, and schemes similar to Madhya Pradesh's 'Ladli Laxmi' for Chhattisgarh. 

Key issues in Himachal Pradesh: The saffron party, which is banking high on the ‘Narendra Modi’ factor, has been insisting throughout its high-voltage election campaign that "continuity" is key to development, while the main opposition party Congress has said the assembly battle will be fought on local issues. The state is clearly witnessing a multi-cornered fight between the political parties and key challengers on the issues of common man especially the Old Pension Scheme, implementation of Uniform Civil Code, unemployment and high rate of inflation in the hilly state.

In a tweet, PM Modi also greeted the young voters who will be exercising their franchise for the first time. People of the hill state will be voting during the day to elect a new government, with the incumbent BJP and the opposition Congress squaring off in their bid to form the next government.

The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party has released 11 commitments in which it has promised to implement the Uniform Civil Code if it forms the government for a second term in the hill state of Himachal Pradesh.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharanan on Thursday released BJP’s election manifesto – Vision Document – for the poll-bound Bihar on Thursday.

The manifesto was released by the Delhi unit of the BJP in the presence of senior party leaders Nitin Gadkari, Harsh Vardhan, Prakash Javadekar among others.
