14-day Karnataka lockdown will come into force from tonight
These guidelines will come into effect from 9 PM on April 27 and will be in force till 6 AM on May 12
Liquor shops or outlets will also remain open from 6 AM -10 AM
Home delivery of liquor or food parcels will be allowed to minimise movement of individuals outside their homes.

As political crisis looms large over Karnataka, BJP state president BS Yeddyurappa was seen engrossed in a game of cricket with BJP MLAs at Ramada resort here on Tuesday.

It is to be noted that two Independent MLAs had already withdrawn their support from the coalition government and are expected to support the BJP if the saffron party gets a chance to form the government in Karnataka.

BJP has maintained that Congress-JDS do not have people's support as the two parties finished a distant second and third in the Karnataka elections.
