Automobile sales and output in China both hit record highs in November as demand continued to soar after the government halved vehicle purchase tax in the world's largest auto market, industry data showed on Thursday.
China's automobile sales grew 11. 8 percent to 2.22 million vehicles in October, while output ended previous drops by edging up 7.1 percent year on year to 2.19 million.
The automobile production and sales in China has dropped 4.4 percent in May from April this year, marking the second month-on-month decline in a row in the world's biggest automobile market, an industry group said today.
