CBSE Exams: The Centre is expected to decide soon on implementing a second board exam for CBSE Class 12 students in June each year, starting from 2026, details below.

In class 10 board exams, 50 per cent questions will be competency-based in the form of MCQs, case-based questions, source-based integrated questions or any other type.

CBSE Board Exams 2023: While Class 10 examinations will be held for 16 days, the Class 12 exams will be conducted for 36 days.

CBSE Class 10th, 12th Admit Card 2023: While CBSE Class X board exam 2023 will be conducted from February 15 to March 21, the Class XII board exam 2023 will be held between February 15 and April 5.

CBSE Class 10th Board Exams 2023 Timetable: CBSE Class X examination will commence on February 15 and will end on March 21, 2023.

CBSE Board Exams 2023 Time Table: The Class 12 or Senior Secondary examination will start on February 15 and will end on April 5, 2023.

The students and teachers can now access the syllabus for the 2022-23 academic year on the official website of the board- cbseacademic.nic.in. 

For the 2021-22 academic session, the CBSE had decided to hold two term-end exams as a "one-time measure" in view of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Examination for the first term of Class 12 will begin from November 16, while for Class 10 it will start on November 17. For assessing the students across the country, the examination will be held in two terms.

CBSE said that a pilot analysis has been done on January 2021 Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) examination data in collaboration with the Central Square Foundation and Playpower Labs to develop algorithms.

The CBSE is expected to release the Class 10 board exam result date soon, students are advised to check the official websites for updates - cbse.nic.in, cbse.gov.in and cbseresults.nic.in.

In a press release, the CBSE said that regular students are those studying in CBSE-affiliated schools and appearing in Class 10th or Class 12th examinations for the first time.The private candidates include those who were regular students in CBSE earlier and failed to qualify in first or second attempt or want to sit for improvement or in an additional subject.
