A Chinese auto firm said Friday it is buying two foreign companies and their self-driving technologies for more than $1 billion, as the world`s second-largest economy seeks to boost its foothold in the autonomous car market.
China`s auto sales fell slightly on a year-on-year basis in May, an industry group said Wednesday, as a slowing economy prompts manufacturers to cut prices and trim production in the world`s largest car market.
CAAM figures showed, fall in April compared with a rise of 3.3% in March.
Those who faced fines included Mercedes-Benz and Audi.
