Pregnancy and menopause don’t cure endometriosis—expert excision surgery is the only definitive treatment. Delaying diagnosis worsens symptoms and may affect fertility—early intervention is crucial. Hysterectomy or hormonal medication alone are not reliable solutions for endometriosis management.

Even with these initiatives, TB still impacts millions, and 10.8 million new TB cases were reported worldwide in 2023. To achieve the ambitious target of eradicating TB by 2030, as set out in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), sustained funding, early detection programs, and better healthcare availability will be central. 

The study found that the disease is caused by Interleukin-18 (IL-18), a protein involved in the innate immune response that can cause inflammation if produced in excess.
