NIA arrested the absconding Maoist Singhrai Soren from Jharkhand in a case pertaining to the seizure of arms and ammunition from the CPI (Maoist) in Giridih district of Jharkhand
The arrested accused is being produced before the Special NIA Court, Ranchi.
Mrityunjay Kumar Singh (34) was arrested in connection with the case, an NIA spokesperson said.
Singh, from Jharkhand's Latehar district, is believed to have a close nexus with the banned CPI (Maoist) leadership,
The case was originally registered on 1st November 2019 at Pantheerankavu Police Station, Kozhikode City, Kerala

They had also conspired and committed unlawful activities, as part of their efforts to propagate the ideology and accomplish the objectives of CPI (Maoist).
