Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday (June 3, 2021) reviewed the damage caused by cyclone Yaas. According to Special Relief Commission Pradeep K Jena, cyclone Yaas has caused infrastructural damage of worth Rs 610 crore.

During West Bengal visit, PM Modi will conduct a review meeting with CM Mamata Banerjee, state Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar. At least four people were killed in Odisha and West Bengal as the cyclonic storm pummeled the eastern coast. Cyclone Yaas, has weakened into a 'well-marked low-pressure' area over Bihar and adjoining east Uttar Pradesh, IMD stated.
