Tahawwur Rana is currently imprisoned in Los Angeles following India's extradition request accepted by the U.S. He faces multiple criminal charges related to the Mumbai terror attacks.

The application was filed before the court which is presently conducting trial against alleged LeT operative Sayyed Zabiuddin Ansari alias Abu Jundal in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks case.

Recent reports had said Headley suffered serious injuries and was rushed to North Evanston hospital, where he was admitted to the critical care unit.

His co-stars Taapsee Pannu, Rishi Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana also underwent intense lessons for the courtroom drama.  

Security agencies have arrested an alleged Lashker-e-Taiba operative. They have claimed that he was carrying out reconnaissance of vital installations. The accused has been identified as Abdul Naeem Sheikh.

Headley informed the court that he had visited the Sena Bhawan in Mumbai twice as part of the attempt to kill the then Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray.

A bench of Justice Pinaki Chandra Ghose and Justice Amitava Roy told petitioner ML Sharma that the court could not pass any order under Article 32 and that he should have approached the high court invoking Article 226.

The matter, which was mentioned for urgent hearing before a bench, will now be heard on March 11, sources said.
