Delhi Police have registered a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POSCO) Act and sent the accused to jail. 

According to the FIR, the minor girl was raped, murdered and then cremated without her parents' consent. The court sent the four accused, who were all known to the girl's mother, to 14-day judicial custody. Delhi Police registered a case against the four accused on the basis of the statement of the minor's mother, who alleged that her daughter was raped, murdered and cremated without family's consent on August 1.

NCPCR had asked the Delhi Police and Twitter to take action over Gandhi posting the photo of the girl's family on the microblogging site. NCPCR had said that it violates POCSO Act.

The Chief Minister stressed upon the detrimental law and order situation of Delhi and said that there is a requirement to fix the law and order system in the national capital.

The Tis Hazari court on Friday ordered a compensation of Rs two lakh for the minor girl who was brutally raped in Paschim Vihar area of the national capital. In a gruesome incident, the 12-year-old girl was brutally raped and critically injured with a sharp weapon. Currently, the child is undergoing treatment at All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) and her condition is extremely critical as she is fighting for her life.

A day after a minor was brutally raped and critically injured in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday visited the AIIMS. He met her family and the doctors treating her. He announced an aid of Rs 10 lakh to the family of the 12-year-old child. CM Kejriwal said that after meeting the doctors, he was told that the next 48 hours are crucial for the girl.

In a gruesome incident, a minor has been brutally raped and critically injured with a sharp weapon in Paschim Vihar area of the national capital. The 12-year-old girl was admitted to the Sanjay Gandhi Hospital on August 4 evening by the Delhi Police in a blood-soaked condition. The body of the child has deep wounds and there was constant bleeding from her private part.

The girl's parents also staged a protest outside the school Tuesday demanding an action against the authorities.
