PM Modi unveiled development projects worth more than Rs 35,700 crore, an initiative focused on the fertiliser, rail, power, and coal sectors in Jharkhand.

According to the report, the expenditure incurred on these projects till July 2023 was Rs 15,21,550.38 crore, which was 53.23 per cent of the anticipated cost of the projects.

“Jammu and Kashmir Administration signed an MoU with the Government of Dubai for real estate development, IT towers, multipurpose towers, logistics, medical college, super specialty hospital and more,’’ Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha informed on Monday.

CM Jai Ram Thakur said that the present government in the state has ensured equitable and balanced development of the state during the last about three and a half years. Chief Minister announced the opening of sub tehsil at Jari and a new developmental block at Bhuntar.

PM Modi was received by Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister CM Yogi Adityanath. PM Modi inaugurated development projects worth around Rs 744 crore. Prime Minister laid foundation stones of several projects and public works worth about Rs 839 crore.

The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate various public projects and works on Thursday morning. Later in the day, PM Modi will inaugurate the International Cooperation and Convention Centre - Rudrakash, which has been constructed with Japanese assistance. Followed by an inspection of a Maternal and Child Health Wing, BHU in the afternoon.

The total cost implication of these projects is Rs 614 crore, according to the Prime Minister's Office.
