Baat Pate Ki: 200 people were trapped after a cloudburst in Uttarakhand's Dharchula, after which the locals rescued those trapped there. After the cloudburst, there was hue and cry all around. On the other hand, problems are being faced in relief and rescue work due to soil subsidence.

Uttarakhand News: Cloud burst in Dharchula of Uttarakhand. Due to this, the bridge of Chal village of Darma valley has been broken. More than 200 people are trapped due to the collapse of the bridge connecting the village.

The pair had fought earlier as well, the police said. On Saturday, when Kshetri did not turn up for duty, Owais marked him absent.

A safety wall is being built in Dharchula along Kali river which flows between India and Nepal. Some elements in Nepal are opposed to its construction and have been throwing stones on Indian workers to disrupt work at the site.

The ties between the two countries came under strain after Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated a 80-KM-long strategically crucial road connecting the Lipulekh pass with Dharchula in Uttarakhand on May 8.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian made the remarks at a media briefing here while replying to questions on India-Nepal differences over the border and Indian Army chief Gen. MM Naravane's remarks that Kathmandu was objecting to the newly built road by India at the behest of "someone else".

Following this alert, the district administration has been asked to be vigilant and to ensure that people are relocated to safer places in areas adjacent to the rivers.   

The Kailash Mansarowar Yatra came to an end today as the last batch of 38 pilgrims reached the Lipulekh pass in the Indian territory this morning.
