South Actress sexual assault case: Her meeting with the Chief Minister came in the wake of a plea moved by her in the Kerala High Court alleging political interference by the ruling LDF government and that there was a move to derail the probe in the case in which actor Dileep is also an accused.

A leading south Indian actress had complained that she had been abducted and sexually assaulted by a gang of goons in 2017 and filmed the assualt to blackmail her. Dileep is the main conspirator in the case.

Justice Ziyad Rahman A A dismissed Dileep's plea in which the actor had alleged that the murder conspiracy FIR was an outcome of a personal animosity against the actor as all the male members of his family have been implicated in it.

According to the cause list for Tuesday uploaded on the Kerala High Court website, Justice Ziyad Rahman A A will pronounce the verdict at 1.45 PM on Dileep's plea.

Early this week, the police probe team filed a petition seeking the cancellation of the bail given to Dileep.
