In an interview with CNN`s Christiane Amanpour on Tuesday, when asked under what conditions Putin would use Russia`s nuclear capability,  Dmitry Peskov replied, "if it is an existential threat for our country, then it can be." 

Russian President Vladimir Putin`s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Tuesday he had tested positive for the novel coronavirus and was receiving treatment at a hospital, the Interfax news agency reported.

The Kremlin was responding to questions about a previously undisclosed conversation between Trump and Putin that caused alarm among some US politicians unhappy about Trump's handling of US-Russia relations.
