According to renowned bariatric surgeon Muffazal Lakdawala, who operated on the Egyptian woman on March 7 at Mumbai's Saifee Hospital, she has lost 242 kg since her arrival in India in February.

Ahmed, who arrived in Mumbai on February 11, 2017 for a weight-reduction surgery, has showed exeptional improvement despite suffering multiple strokes in between.
Dr Muffazal Lakdawala and his team performed the gastric bypass surgery on Jogawat, whose weight problem became a subject of online discussion after De, a well-known writer, poked fun at him over his obese condition in a tweet earlier last week.
She is scheduled to undergo the bariatric surgery at Saifee hospital which is located near Charni road railway station.
Eman, who arrived in Mumbai last Saturday (February 11) in a specially arranged chartered flight for a bariatric surgery, has been put on a low-calorie, high-protein liquid diet.
