Flight AI-171 Crash News
The Federation of Indian Pilots (FIP) has issued legal notices to The Wall Street Journal and Reuters, demanding an apology and cessation of "unverified" reporting on the AI-171 crash.
The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has submitted its preliminary report on the fatal AI-171 crash in Ahmedabad, which claimed over 250 lives.
In a major breakthrough for the Air India Flight AI-171 investigation, data from both the Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR) and Flight Data Recorder (FDR) has been successfully downloaded by the AAIB. Analysis is now underway to determine the cause and enhance aviation safety.
Hospital authorities said many of the bodies are charred beyond recognition. Among the victims on the ground were medical students, patients, doctors’ family members, and local residents caught in the crash.
