For the fifth time, Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd has deferred the delivery date of it's Freedom 251 phone.

The controversial Noida-based startup, Ringing Bells Pvt Ltd will start delivery its Rs 251 smartphone, the Freedom 251 from June 30, and not June 28 as reported earlier.

The company had in mid-February this year planned to deliver 25 lakh handsets before June 30. However, it received over seven crore registrations before its payment gateway crashed within three days.

Perhaps, it is better late than never as Ringing Bells on Monday announced that it would start the delivery of its Rs 251 smartphone, the Freedom251 from June 28.
