India and France expressed serious concern about the violation of human rights in Afghanistan
They call for an inclusive and representative government in the country through a joint press statement
The two countries "reiterated their strong support for a peaceful, secure and stable Afghanistan"
A defiant President Emmanuel Macron vowed to deploy thousands of more soldiers to protect important French sites, such as places of worship and schools. Macron said France had been attacked “over our values, for our taste for freedom, for the ability on our soil to have freedom of belief”, adding “And I say it with lots of clarity again today: we will not give any ground.”
French President Emmanuel Macron has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on cyclone Amphan that hit eastern India last month, conveying his condolence and solidarity in the aftermath of the cyclone.
