Eight Congress MLAs on Wednesday joined the ruling BJP in Goa.

Pramod Swant confirmed that the 10 former Congress MLAs, who have merged with BJP, will meet Union Home Minister and BJP president Amit Shah in Delhi today.

BJP president Amit Shah had last month said Parrikar would continue as the chief minister and that there would be reshuffle of his Cabinet soon.

Two ailing ministers - Francis D`Souza and Pandurang Madkaikar - were dropped from Goa cabinet.

According to sources, the two new members will be inducted in the Cabinet today.
