While the Google account simplifies our work by connecting all services, it also holds the key to our financial and personal information on these apps. This implies that once the security of your Google account has been breached, the hacker or fraudster can obtain any information they choose. As a result, it is critical that you exercise caution when utilising Google services to avoid having them hacked.

The option has already been enabled on Twitter`s Beta app for Android users. The Beta version of the Twitter app currently lets users sign in with Google as one of the options. Twitter has not responded to this yet.

Google Photos is due for a policy change starting June 1 that will lead to no more free, unlimited storage for `high-quality photos. The existing `high-quality compressed photos and videos are exempt from this change and will not count towards the 15GB default storage that comes with a Google account. However, the new `high quality` photos and uncompressed `Original` ones will count towards a user`s storage once the policy gets implied.

Until now, YouTube creators had to change their name and icon for their entire Google account -- so their name on YouTube would be the same name they send emails from in Gmail. The new update is expected to offer more flexibility for creators who might prefer to send emails under their actual name instead of their channel name. However, this also comes with a drawback to the creators who have a verification badge as they will lose their check mark if they change their name.

The new feature is available for all Android users and will be launched on iOS and web later this year, Google said.
