A Hindu man, Vishal Gokavi, has alleged that his Muslim wife, Tehsin Hosamani, and her family coerced him into converting to Islam following their marriage in Karnataka’s Gadag district.

The victim was hit with an iron rod before being stabbed with a knife, and he was killed on the spot, police said.
