The tricolor campaign has started across the country from today. A target has been set to hoist the tricolor in 20 crore homes. ITBP personnel have also hoisted the tricolor at 18 thousand feet.

Two people died and three were injured in an accident at Tidong Hydropower Project at Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh. A trolley leading inside the tunnel of the project slipped and fell deep inside at around 11 am. The power project is located at Retakhan on the Tidong river, a tributary of the Satluj.
