Chennaiyin FC has qualified for the semi-finals and can finish anywhere between two and four.

The 2015 champions parted ways with Materazzi after a three-year stint following a moderate run in 2016, in which they finished seventh during the group stage.

The 63-year-old Gregory has over four decades of experience as a player and coach with six appearances as 'full international' for the England national team.
