JEE Main 2022 exam will be conducted in two sessions this year. The process of the form completion of JEE Main has been made easier and merged into three easy steps. The fees for general category men is Rs 650, whereas for the unreserved category females, reserved category and transgenders, it is Rs 325.

The candidates who are preparing for JEE Main 2022 exam can visit the official website of NTA for the latest updates- nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

“JEE (Main) dates rescheduled to enable students across the country to prepare well for the exams,” the NTA wrote on Twitter.

The exams were conducted at 1,476 centers in 75 districts of UP in double shifts. The counselling session will begin on September 1, 2021. Around 90 per cent of the registered candidates appeared for the exams this year.

The step includes filling and submitting the application form. To access the application form, candidates have to enter their registration number, password and date of birth. In order to appear for the examination, one must have acquired a graduate or postgraduate degree in any stream with at least 50 percent marks to apply for the exam.

"I have secured admission in MIT and I will go ahead with it. The classes have already begun and I am attending them online. I had prepared for four years for these exams so I didn't want to skip appearing for the exam," Falor was quoted as saying by PTI news agency. He also stated that he used to attend MIT classes online during the night and then prepare for IIT exams in the day. He added, "The JEE was tougher than the exam at MIT. The exam has given me different confidence altogether."

A total of 66 trains - 33 each in up and down directions - will be run on September 13 from 11 am to 7 pm from the two terminal stations, Noapara and Kavi Subhash Candidates for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) had faced a tough time reaching exam centres due to lack of transport facilities earlier this month

"JEE-Advanced will be conducted on August 23," HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank' said.

JEE is conducted in two phases; JEE Main and JEE Advanced. The students should qualify JEE Mains to advance to appear for JEE Advanced.

The examination will be held in two shifts per day. The JEE Main 2020 will be held for 11,18,673 registered candidates (9,21,261 for B.E./B.Tech., 1,38,409 for B Arch and 59,003 for B Planning) from January 6-9. 

While the IITs have introduced a special quota for girl students this year to fill the gender balance in the prestigious institutes, an initiative by the the CBSE is helping girls crack the JEE.

The apex court's observation came during a hearing of a plea that challenged the Madras IIT's decision to grant grace marks to all students for misprinted questions in the joint entrance examination.

The gender ratio of the successful candidates stands at 43,318 boys and 7,137 girls (86 per cent boys and 14 per cent girls approximately).
