Kiran Tiwari, wife of Hind leader Kamlesh Tiwari has received threats in Lucknow, the capital of UP. Significantly, Kamlesh Tiwari was murdered after entering his house. Now his wife has received a threatening letter written in Urdu. The police have increased the security of his house.

The accused, identified as Kamran, allegedly helped the assailants - Moinuddin and Ashraf, in trying to escape to Nepal. He works in the travel agency of Naved, another accused who has been arrested. A total of six persons have been arrested so far. Other accused - Rashid Pathan, Faizan Sheikh, and Maulana Mohsin Sheikh - were sent to police custody last week in connection with the case.

It may be recalled that the state government earlier this week sanctioned Rs 15 lakh and a house to the family of Kamlesh Tiwari, who was murdered in Lucknow on October 18. 

Slain Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari's wife Kiran Tiwari has been appointed as the new chief of the Hindu Samaj Party.

The maulana was detained on Tuesday by the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS). He was arrested after a long interrogation under Section 216 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The accused had visited the cleric after they killed Tiwari in Lucknow.

The Chief Minister has also instructed the authorities to take the accused to a fast track court for a speedy trial. Kamlesh Tiwari was shot dead at Naka area of Lucknow.

Gujarat ATS has arrested the two prime accused in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case. Ashfaq Hussain and Moinuddin Khurshid Pathan were arrested by Gujarat ATS. Now UP Police will further investigate about the mastermind of Kamlesh Murder case.

Gujarat ATS has arrested the two prime accused in the Kamlesh Tiwari murder case. Ashfaq Hussain and Moinuddin Khurshid Pathan were arrested by Gujarat ATS.

The Gujarat ATS said in a press release that in the primary interrogation both Ashfaq and Moinuddin have accepted their involvement in the murder of Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari.

The UP Police brought the three accused in the case to Lucknow from Gujarat on Monday after a court in Ahmedabad on Sunday granted 72-hour transit remand to the police.

Kamlesh Tiwari was stabbed and shot at on Friday (October 18, 2019) afternoon inside his residence in Lucknow's Naka Hindola area allegedly by the above-mentioned duo. He succumbed to his injuries at a Lucknow hospital during treatment. 

Local leader Jaimin Bapu has told Gujarat ATS that a man named Ashfaq created an account on Facebook with the fake name of Rohit Solanki in June 2019 to connect with the Hindu Samaj Party leader who was shot dead at his residence in the Naka area of Uttar Pradesh`s Lucknow on Friday.

She requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the governments of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh to provide her security.

It may be recalled that Kusum Tiwari had on Saturday lashed out at the police and alleged that her son had been killed by a local politician.

Uttar Pradesh DGP O P Singh said the police had seized saffron kurtas, which were worn by Moinuddin Pathan and Ashfaq Hussain, from a room at Hotel Khalsa Inn in Lucknow.

In the latest development in Hindu Samaj Party leader Kamlesh Tiwari's murder, the Uttar Pradesh Police said that the accused came to Lucknow to carry out their plans via train and reached Charbagh railway station from where they proceeded to find Tiwari's residence.
