Kerala Governor Arif Mohammed Khan visited the injured who are admitted to hospitals in Malappuram and Kozhikode.
Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan to told media that 18 people have died in the crash which includes 14 adults and 4 children.
149 injured are undergoing treatment in hospital and 23 people have been discharged, said CM Pinarayi Vijayan.

In a tragic incident, at least 17 people, including two pilot, were killed and many injured when an Air India Express plane skid off the runway of the Kozhikode airport in Kerala.
The injured have been taken to multiple hospitals and the dead to Kondotti hospital.
A total of 190 people--184 passengers, including ten infants, two pilots, and four cabin crew were onboard the aircraft.
