Kieron Pollard-led Trinbago Knight Riders won the toss and opted to field first in the summit showdown of the CPL. Pollard finished with figures of four for 30 for Trinbago Knight Riders as St Lucia Zouks were bundled out for 154 runs. Lendl Simmons (84) not only smashed a quick-fire knock of 89 but also stitched a 138-run stand with Darren Bravo (58) to help his side cross the mark in just 18.1 overs.

The win helps West Indies level the three-match series against India 1-1.

Guptill, with a based price Rs. 50 lakhs, was initially not picked at the IPL players' auction.
