As part of these additional Safety features, ALTO K10 is now equipped with ABS with EBD, Driver Airbag, Reverse Parking Sensor, Speed Alert System, Driver and Co-Driver Seat belt Reminder.

Like the Maruti Suzuki Alto and Hyundai Eon, the Renault Kwid is now also available in 1.0-litre variants.

Alto 800 variants with driver airbag are priced between Rs 2.62 lakh and 3.78 lakh while Alto K10 is priced between Rs 3.45 lakh and Rs 4.08 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki India Tuesday announced recall of 33,098 units of its small car models Alto 800 and Alto K10 manufactured between December 8, 2014 and February 18, 2015 to rectify defective latches on right side doors.

Country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki India is investing up to Rs 4,000 crore in the next 2-3 years in key areas like product development, R&D and marketing infrastructure, a senior MSIL official said Tuesday.

While the petrol version delivers a mileage of 24.07 km per litre, the CNG variant will have a fuel economy of 32.26 km per kg.

With an eye on reviving growth in its bread and butter mini car segment, the country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki India will launch a new version of its Alto K10 equipped with automated gear shift next month.
