Indraprastha Gas Ltd, the city gas license holder for the national capital and adjoining cities, hiked the CNG price by Re 1 per kg to Rs 75.09 in Delhi last month.

The Central government has revised the guidelines to decide the prices of CNG-PNG by linking with it to 'Imported Crude' instead of 'International Gas Hub'. The prices of CNG-PNG will be henceforth decided every month.

The latest gas rates are effective midnight of 12th April, 2022. Earlier this month, MGL had increased the prices of CNG and PNG on April 6, 2022. The Central government has hiked the supply price of domestically-produced natural gas by about 110%.

MGL has increased the basic price of CNG by Rs 2.50/kg. The rate of domestic PNG has been increased by Rs 1.50/SCM. The revised PNG and CNG rates are applicable for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).
