Bajrang Punia's suspension by NADA means that he will not be able to return to competitive wrestling and apply for a coaching job abroad, if he aspires to.   

The incident occurred on March 10th when NADA doping control officers approached Punia for an out-of-competition test after his semifinal loss at the trials. Shockingly, the 29-year-old grappler refused to comply, storming off the premises.

Punia, along with a line of other top wrestlers, including Olympians Sakshi Malik and Vinesh; was at the forefront of former BJP MP and president of Wrestling Federation of India (WFI), Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh.

NADA has collected 58 samples from 55 Indian cricketers till May 2023. Ravindra Jadeja, India's spin-bowling all-rounder, has been tested the most times in five-month period.

According to NADA, Sarbjeet Kaur's sample had presence of prohibited substance namely -- Di-hydroxy-LGD-4033 (LGD 4033 METABOLITE), Selective Androgen Receptor Modulations (SARM), and Ostarine (Enobosarm).
