A double-storied residential house, built over 5 marlas of land and owned by Peer Iftikar Hussain, a resident of Hutmurah, Mattan, has been attached under Section 68-F(1) of the NDPS Act.
During the year 2024, 94 cases under the NDPS Act have been registered in several police stations across the district, and 156 accused persons involved in peddling and trafficking of narcotics and psychotropic substances have been arrested by Srinagar Police.

Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday inaugurated a two-day national conference on drug trafficking and national security. The conference is organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau, PTI reported.
